Pediatric Emergency Nurse Travel Assignment

About the Role:
This Pediatric Emergency Nurse position requires a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide nursing care to patients ranging from neonates to young adults. The ideal candidate will possess strong assessment and critical thinking skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. The nurse will be responsible for conducting initial assessments, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, and evaluating patient progress throughout their stay. Additionally, they will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough initial assessments, identifying the needs of each patient.
- Develop and implement evidence-based plans of care that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to the plan of care as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions between shifts and departments.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a current RN license, at least 2 years of ER experience, and ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications. A strong background in pediatric care is essential, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and think critically in fast-paced environments. Proficiency in Cerner EMR is also required.
