As a Utilities Equipment Repairer, your main duties will include:

  • Managing the upkeep of gasoline engine systems and portable heating units.

Through comprehensive training, you will acquire the necessary skills and experience to transition into a civilian career in numerous sectors that utilize electrical-powered equipment, such as healthcare facilities, manufacturing companies, and government entities. With additional certifications, this role may also pave the way for self-employment opportunities in electrical tool and equipment repair.

Training and Development

The training program for a Utilities Equipment Repairer consists of:
  • 10 weeks of Basic Training to develop foundational soldiering skills.
  • 13 weeks of Advanced Individual Training focused on practical applications in electrical repair.
