Job Title: Teacher's Aide

Palm Beach Christian Academy (PBCA) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher's Aide to join our elementary program. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the classroom teacher in implementing our classical Christian curriculum, focusing on instilling virtue, connecting Christ to every subject, and developing world-class rhetorical skills.
  • Supervise students and provide learning support and guidance to ensure their academic and social growth.
  • Assist the teacher in developing and implementing education plans, identifying and solving issues related to students' educational, social, and emotional development.
  • Maintain daily records, track student progress, and intervene as necessary to help students progress.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative learning environment that meets the unique needs of all students.
  • Follow school policies and procedures, ensuring a clean, safe, and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Participate in school meetings, trainings, and orientations, and complete all in-service hours on time.
Qualifications:
  • Evidence of strong Christian faith and values, acknowledging the School's Statement of Faith and Staff Leadership Covenant.
  • Bachelor's degree in education, teaching certificate, or working towards a degree in education.
  • Knowledge of elementary curriculum and ability to implement it.
  • Excellent oral and written skills, with the ability to interact collaboratively with students, parents, and Administration.
  • Ability to pass a drug test, fingerprints, and level 2 background check.
