We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse to join our GI Recovery team at Northwestern Memorial Healthcare. As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to advance patient care and achieve exceptional outcomes.
- Participate in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration to enhance unit operations.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans for patients and families.
- Evaluate and document patient responses to nursing interventions and individualize care plans accordingly.
- Identify priorities, set realistic goals, and prescribe and implement nursing interventions in a safe and timely manner.
- Graduate of an NLN accredited school/college of nursing.
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or higher.
- Current State of Illinois, Registered Professional Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR through American Heart Association.
- Strong human relation skills to interact effectively and collaborate with others in difficult situations.
- Experience in specific clinical area.
- Nursing specialty certification, if eligible.
