Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at Alphatec PC. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing design solutions for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage communications systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems for various projects, including power distribution, lighting, and low voltage communications.
  • Collaborate with integrated architecture and engineering project design teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality construction documents, specifications, and design analysis.
  • Contribute to Alphatec's sustainable design initiatives and pursue LEED or Green Globe certifications.
  • Assist the Electrical team on multiple projects, exhibit technical leadership, and support team members.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and/or MSEE.
  • PE license preferred, pursuit to licensure required.
  • Mid-Level to Senior Level experience in the design of electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in AUTODESK Building Design Suite (AutoCAD and Revit).
  • CEM, RCDD, LEED GA or LEED AP BD+C preferred.
  • Broad knowledge of standard codes and compliance methods, including DoD UFC criteria.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills required to undertake multiple projects.
  • US citizenship and valid driver's license required for government clearance.
