Job Title: Executive Secretary

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 per annum

About the Role

This position provides senior-level administrative support to the Chief of Police and other department members. The successful candidate will make the police department as administratively productive as possible while ensuring a smoothly operating and highly reliable environment.

  • Ordering, maintaining, and replenishing office supplies for the department.
  • Managing the Chief of Police calendar.
  • Managing the recruitment process for all Police positions from initial application to hiring proposal submission.
  • Managing the flow of information to and from the department, including records management.
  • Supervising employees.
  • Creating spreadsheets, managing AIS budget information, and preparing reports as requested.
  • Providing administrative assistance to the Office of Emergency Management and Safety.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite software.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in managing the administrative functions of an executive-level office.
  • Spreadsheet development and maintenance for budget reporting and performance standards tracking.
  • Excellent keyboarding skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to compose/respond to correspondence.
