We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Float Pool team at Catholic Health. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in our Long Term Care facilities, covering vacancies and absences as needed.
Responsibilities- Administer nursing care to designated residents under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Coordinate and support the activities of certified nurse assistants and participate in the direct care of residents, following the specific approaches outlined in the plan of care.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
- Currently registered in New York State as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Minimum three (3) months of long term care experience required.
May be exposed to disagreeable conditions, including odors, communicable diseases, infections, and injuries from residents or equipment.
