Catholic Health System is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our In-house Agency as a Float Pool Nurse. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in various Long Term Care facilities within our system, providing high-quality care to residents and supporting the activities of certified nurse assistants.

**Responsibilities:**

* Administer nursing care to designated residents under the direction of a registered nurse
* Coordinate and support the activities of certified nurse assistants
* Participate in the direct care of residents, following the specific approaches outlined in the plan of care

**Requirements:**

* High School diploma or GED
* Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing
* Currently registered in New York State as a Licensed Practical Nurse
* Minimum three (3) months of long term care experience

**Working Conditions:**

* Strenuous positions, including pushing, lifting residents, and being on feet most of the day
* May be exposed to disagreeable conditions, such as odors, communicable diseases, and injuries from residents or equipment
