Pharmacy Manager Job Description

As a Pharmacy Manager at UnitedHealth Group, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional pharmacy services to our customers. You will be responsible for leading a team of pharmacists and technicians to provide high-quality patient care and ensure the financial profitability of the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of pharmacists and technicians to provide patient care and manage pharmacy operations
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and increase pharmacy profitability
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care and communication
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations
  • Perform wellness services such as immunizations and flu shots

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
  • Current pharmacist's license in the state of Indiana
  • Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of pharmacy leadership experience
