We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist PRN to join our team at Research Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and specialized magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems, and blood flow studies
- Present images and patient information/history to the Radiologist for comprehensive diagnostic reports
- Assess image quality and make adjustments as necessary
- Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions
- Turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines
- Graduate of an accredited school or college with certificate or degree in Radiology Technology
- American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) registered
- ARRT MR preferred upon hire or must become registry eligible for ARRT MR within 1 year of hire and must complete registry within the 6 months following
- BCLS required within 30 days of start date
- 2-3 years MRI experience preferred
- On Call required and must have the ability to report to the facility within one hour of call back
