Associate Director

This is a key leadership position within the Kugelman Honors Program and the Levin Scholars Program. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction and oversight for these programs, ensuring their alignment with the university's goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic plans for the Levin Scholars Program, including recruitment, retention, and program evaluation.
- Provide management and operational support for the Kugelman Honors Program, including budget planning, resource allocation, and program assessment.
- Lead the development and implementation of curriculum and programming for the Levin Scholars Program, including teaching, student engagement, and leadership development.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to promote academic excellence and student success.
- Manage and oversee the budget for the Levin Scholars Program, ensuring effective resource allocation and program sustainability.
- Masters degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience; or a bachelors degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience.
- Experience with program development, management, and evaluation.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Experience with budget planning and resource allocation.
- Experience working with high-achieving students, particularly in the area of leadership development.
- Experience with community engagement and/or donor development.
- Proven track record of building, implementing, and assessing successful programs.
This is a full-time position, with a salary range of $70,000 - $80,000 per year. The University of West Florida is an Equal Opportunity/Access/Affirmative Action/Disabled/Veteran employer.
