Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Substation Engineer to join our team at Indotronix International Corporation. As a Senior Substation Engineer, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive engineering design services for substation facilities, ensuring they are constructed on schedule and within committed resource allocations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop economical, technically feasible, and reliable substation physical and control designs with minimal supervision and guidance.
  • Ensure quality control on assigned projects by providing construction support as needed, including coordination with construction forces and job site inspections.
  • Provide coordination and communication with other departments to maintain total project schedules and expenditures in accordance with commitments.
  • Assist and guide other departments and districts in solving non-standard substation design problems.
  • Monitor project expenditures and practice cost control to meet project commitments.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates for use in company budgeting procedures to identify cash flow requirements.
  • Update project management system to reflect the status of projects assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, codes, and regulations applicable to the position and company.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited school and 5 years of industry experience as a practicing engineer, and must be a licensed PE.
  • Specialized knowledge of relay protection, wiring & control, and other phases of substation engineering.
  • Areas of cost control, budgets, finance, and accounting with technical experiences in cost analysis.
  • Skills in analytical, interpersonal, and communication with company personnel, customers, and regulatory agencies.
Work Environment:

General office environment with some field work for supervision.
