Responsibilities of the RN Resident

As an RN Resident, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing patient condition during admission and during each shift as scheduled
  • Performing procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s)
  • Documenting the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner
  • Providing exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and anticipating patient needs
Requirements for the RN Resident Position

To be eligible for this position, you must:

  • Have a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment
  • Have an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Be a Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
