Cullman Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Access Representative. As a key member of our registration team, you will be responsible for collecting and accurately inputting patient information into our hospital registration system.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Collect and accurately input patient information into our hospital registration system

• Obtain signatures on all necessary forms and issue required notices to patients or family members

• Verify insurance coverage and identify certification requirements

• Notify supervisory personnel if patient authorization is required but not on file

• Calculate estimated patient balances and request payment using approved scripts

• Accurately document patient interactions and account handling

• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and promote a positive patient experience

• Uphold and promote patient safety and quality standards

**Requirements**

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• One to two years of clerical experience preferred, with insurance verification and hospital or medical experience a plus

• Excellent customer service skills and computer experience required

• Ability to type 30 WPM and interpret medical terminology
