Job Overview

Altieri is a renowned consulting engineering firm that provides expert mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and information technology system design services to architects and professionals in the construction industry worldwide.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Boston.

Responsibilities:

  • Design efficient power and lighting systems, including advanced lighting control systems, fire alarm systems, security, and information technology systems.
  • Draft 2D and 3D designs utilizing Revit software.
  • Evaluate designs to ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA, IEEE) and energy efficiency standards.
  • Prepare load calculations, short-circuit analysis, and voltage drop calculations to guarantee project requirements.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor electrical installations and verify adherence to design specifications and safety protocols.
  • Design electrical systems aligning with LEED certification or other sustainability guidelines, if applicable.
  • Participate in client meetings to discuss project scope, requirements, and design solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 6-10 years of relevant experience.
  • PE license is a plus.
  • Strong team player with proven ability to collaborate internally and externally.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to contribute personal strengths while respecting colleagues' differences.

For this position, we offer an estimated annual salary range of $90,000 - $120,000.
