Job Opportunity

Peer Insight is seeking a skilled User Researcher to contribute to our innovative projects. As a User Researcher, you will play a critical role in understanding customer needs and developing solutions that meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute primary and secondary research to identify customer needs and preferences
  • Support the development of new solutions by identifying target users, defining key features, and designing business models
  • Contribute to the development of a practical plan for de-risking opportunities by helping to discern how to deploy limited resources effectively
  • Ruthlessly prioritize and iterate based on feedback from users
  • Support communication with key stakeholders by conceptualizing and overseeing the delivery of assets and artifacts that bring stakeholders along for continued investment decisions

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in research and human-centered design, innovation/design consulting, product strategy or product design/early prototyping, or corporate innovation strategy
  • Well-versed in applying human-centered design principles to research, development, and execution of new products and services
  • Experience with activating and contributing to teams in dynamic environments
  • Comfort and courage with navigating the unknown through rigorous testing and iteration
  • Ability to handle complexity by weighing competing factors to make sound decisions with imperfect and/or incomplete data
  • Strong sense of ownership, willingness to do whatever it takes to serve the mission, team, and customer
  • Ability to work with remote teams and appreciate the power of a diverse organization

Benefits

  • Salary range: $90K-$115K base salary with additional twice-a-year profit sharing bonuses and performance bonuses
