We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team at Ascension Sacred Heart. As a Neuro Endovascular Radiology Specialist, you will play a critical role in assisting with procedures to analyze, diagnose, and treat the cardiovascular system.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Review medical history, position patients, and clean, shave, and numb testing sites as necessary.
- Interpret, describe, and report test results, recognizing recording errors and artifacts and taking appropriate action.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, promptly reporting any abnormal findings in their condition.
- Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and lab areas, ensuring they are properly functioning and report any potential problems or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
- Lock and tag out equipment as necessary, and assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date, from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- One or more of the following certifications required:
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Certified Cardiographic Tech from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Radiologic Technologist from the Florida Radiologic Technology.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, or Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
