Postdoctoral Fellow - Immunology Center of Georgia

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join our team at the Immunology Center of Georgia. As a member of our research group, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in human cancers and cardiovascular diseases.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will lead research projects centered around gene regulatory networks, metabolism, and unraveling cell-cell communications using single-cell omics. Our lab has developed innovative systems immunology approaches to tackle fundamental immunological questions in human diseases.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in project planning, collaborating with the team to develop research protocols and strategies.
  • Utilize advanced computational tools to analyze and interpret experimental results and data generated within the lab.
  • Present findings at scientific meetings locally, nationally, and internationally.
  • Compose articles for publication in scientific journals.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of students, graduate assistants, and other research personnel engaged in research activities and/or related laboratory work.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. from an accredited college or university.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases or willingness to learn.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills.
