Job Title: Center Manager II

Join SightMD, a rapidly growing integrated ophthalmic provider group, as a Center Manager II. This role plays a vital part in the management of daily office operations, ensuring consistency, flow, and achievement of individual and team goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage financial obligations of the center to meet or exceed budget expectations
  • Oversee, train, and supervise front desk, surgical, and technical staff operations to ensure compliance with company policies and healthcare ordinances
  • Assist in the direction of physician and patient activities, acting as a liaison between the front and back office to ensure patient satisfaction and overall efficiency
  • Identify areas of improvement, research, and develop action plans for implementation
  • Establish and oversee orientation, training, and career development for new hires
  • Manage staff and physician scheduling, time, attendance, overtime, and time off requests
  • Lead a healthy and inclusive work environment through coaching, teamwork, and positive reinforcement
  • Evaluate individual performance levels and conduct disciplinary action meetings as needed
  • Track and report team development, build a culture consistent with SightMD core values, and adjust training, processes, or staffing as needed
  • Maintain corporate standards within the office to ensure brand consistency
  • Manage office inventory of medical and office supplies, working closely with procurement to ensure cost and inventory controls
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the medical field, with Ophthalmology a plus
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
  • Strong organization and leadership skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure individually and as part of a team
  • Open availability to work a rotating schedule
  • Advanced computer skills and EMR experience
