**Job Summary:**
The Department of Art at UCLA is seeking a pool of applicants for potential temporary part-time teaching positions in various variable topics/proposal-based courses in the department for the academic year.
**Responsibilities:**
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in art, including Art 132 Undergraduate Survey of Critical Thought and Art 276 Graduate Group Critique.
- Develop and implement course curricula, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Provide guidance and feedback to students on their work.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of art programs.
**Requirements:**
- BA or BFA required; MFA preferred.
- Experience in teaching art courses, preferably at the university level.
- Strong knowledge of art history, theory, and criticism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience in teaching diverse student populations.
- Knowledge of contemporary art practices and trends.
