Key Responsibilities

  • Verify all outgoing loads for accuracy and ensure proper documentation.
  • Maintain an organized and tidy yard.
  • Ensure that no equipment leaves the yard without the necessary paperwork.
  • Safely load and unload equipment for customers, taking care to prevent any damage.
  • Transport equipment using a pickup truck and gooseneck trailer.
  • Secure every load meticulously.
  • Inspect returned equipment for damage and ensure all items are accounted for.
  • Clean equipment post-rental.
  • Assist in job setup at customer locations as needed.
  • Maintain hoses and accessories related to rental equipment.
  • Conduct deliveries and pickups as required.
  • Adhere to company policies and departmental procedures consistently.
  • Keep the work area clean and orderly, including daily maintenance of the yard and storage areas.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic consistently.
  • Follow the established work schedule; attendance is crucial.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend service calls.

Job Requirements

  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Knowledgeable in safety protocols and troubleshooting methods.
  • Able to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and related equipment.
  • Capable of lifting up to 70 pounds.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Efficient in completing service calls and repairs.
  • Willingness to work on-call hours and travel as necessary.
  • Possession of a valid CDL license and a clean driving record.
