Job Summary

The Delivery Driver is a critical role within our organization, responsible for delivering customer orders in a timely and efficient manner. This position requires a high level of customer service, safety, and operational expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and lawful manner, adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Deliver products to customer locations, meeting established delivery goals and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collect and track customer returns through established Service Level Agreements.
  • Load, unload, and secure products to ensure customers receive clean and damage-free merchandise.
  • Complete daily route and all appropriate paperwork, communicating obstacles and customer feedback to sales and supervisory personnel.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a related field, with route or box delivery driving experience of customer goods and merchandise.
  • Valid driver's license in the state the Delivery Driver position is offered, with a satisfactory driving record reflected during a rolling 36-month average.
  • Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certification.
Working Conditions

The Delivery Driver will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring physical stamina to transport, carry, and load cartons of products up to 100 pounds. The ability to work in all types of weather and climb in and out of vehicles is also required.

This role requires continuous climbing, standing on feet for long periods, climbing stairs, and walking various distances. Stooping, bending, crawling, kneeling, crouching, and reaching are also physical requirements of the Delivery Driver position.
