Position Summary:

As a leading supplier in the automotive industry, we specialize in chrome plating fully assembled bumpers for major automotive manufacturers. We are looking for motivated production associates who possess a strong work ethic and a collaborative spirit. Success in this role requires physical stamina, including the ability to bend, stand, twist, and lift, along with a sharp attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chrome Plating: You will be responsible for loading and unloading bumpers onto the chrome plating conveyor system. This involves carefully placing bumpers from storage onto the conveyor, securing them for the chrome dipping process, and unloading them at the end of the line. Each bumper weighs approximately 25-30 lbs, and maintaining a consistent pace is essential.
  • Painting: In this area, you will hang bumpers on conveyor belts that pass through a painting machine. Afterward, you will manually inspect and touch up the paint on the bumpers, ensuring quality and precision. Each bumper weighs about 25-30 lbs, and attention to detail is crucial for this task.
  • Final Packaging: This role involves preparing bumpers for shipment to clients. You will ensure that labels match the products, wrap bumpers for protection, assemble boxes, and palletize shipments. Each bumper, when boxed, will weigh around 35-40 lbs.

Additional Duties:

  • Work collaboratively within a team while completing individual tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at your workstation during downtime.
  • Be open to learning new skills and responsibilities as needed.
  • Complete any other tasks assigned by supervisors or team leads.

Job Requirements:

  • Physical capabilities include bending, standing, twisting, and lifting up to 30-40 lbs.
  • Familiarity with working in a paint shop environment.
  • Ability to work 8-10 hours per day, including weekends as required.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Adherence to safety, quality, and production standards.
  • Willingness to follow management instructions.
  • Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings.
  • Two forms of valid identification are required.
