As a Geotechnical Engineer in Training/Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing field assessments and laboratory evaluations.
  • Conducting geotechnical engineering to inform design choices for various structures, including bridge foundations, retaining walls, and embankments for transportation projects.
  • Executing geotechnical analyses for deep foundation capacity, slope stability, and settlement assessments for transportation infrastructure.
  • Drafting comprehensive geotechnical reports and documentation.
  • Monitoring construction activities related to earthworks and foundation installations.
  • Performing site evaluations to strategize geotechnical investigations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with regional transportation initiatives.
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or ongoing graduate studies.
  • EIT certification is highly desirable; candidates without EIT will hold the title of 'Coordinator' and are expected to pursue EIT for career advancement.
  • Local candidates are preferred.
  • Familiarity with the local geological conditions.
  • Ability to work autonomously while receiving general guidance from senior Geotechnical Engineers.
  • Successful candidates will be encouraged to obtain their PE for further career development.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software tools.
