About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at ConvenientMD. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient health through interviews, physical examinations, and medical histories.
  • Determine abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests and interpreting test results.
  • Perform therapeutic procedures, including injections and immunizations, suturing, and managing wounds and infections.
  • Instruct and counsel patients on therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, and emotional problems of daily living.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation and advising management on needed actions.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree and certification by a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner certifying body.
  • A DEA license with no restrictions.
  • An active license in the state of employment by start date.
  • Active BLS for Healthcare Providers.
  • Clinical experience in an emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care setting is preferred.

Physical Requirements

The role requires the ability to stand and sit for hours at a time, some bending and stooping, and the use of manual dexterity in relation to clinical requirements. The ability to lift 50lbs is also necessary.
