Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team at Soliant. As a key member of our educational team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, developing and implementing effective interventions, and providing counseling and support services to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic skills, social-emotional functioning, and developmental levels. Interpret assessment results and provide insights to inform instructional planning, intervention strategies, and individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Counseling and Support: Provide counseling and support services to students individually or in group settings, addressing a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
  • Collaboration and Consultation: Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals to develop and implement effective interventions and behavior management strategies. Consult with parents, guardians, and external stakeholders to foster effective partnerships and support students' overall well-being and academic success.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with research, best practices, and legal requirements related to school psychology and special education.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Licensure: Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Skills: Proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting assessment results. Sound knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and procedures. Strong understanding of various behavioral intervention strategies and positive behavior support systems.
