Cytology Specialist

K.A. Recruiting is seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team. As a cytotechnologist, you will play a critical role in the laboratory, evaluating patient cell samples for precancerous, malignant, and infection conditions. Your expertise will be essential in preparing microscopic slides, mounting and examining smears under a microscope, and detecting abnormal cell structures. You will work closely with pathologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and maintain the highest level of confidentiality. To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Laboratory Science or equivalent, state licensure (if applicable), and the ability to establish positive relationships with employees, physicians, and clients. Additionally, you will need to complete a Cytotechnologist program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs and pass a pre-employment proficiency screening exam and visual color discrimination test.
