As a Cytotechnologist at K.A. Recruiting, you will play a vital role in evaluating patient cell samples for precancerous, malignant, and infection conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare microscopic slides from human cell specimens
  • Mount, stain, and examine smears under a microscope
  • Examine cell samples to detect abnormal cell structures and report findings to Pathologists for further examination
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict laboratory protocols

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Laboratory Science or equivalent, as per CLIA guidelines
  • State licensure, if applicable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Completion of a Cytotechnologist program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment proficiency screening exam and visual color discrimination test
