Job Description:We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls, circuits, mechanical, and pneumatic components and systems.
- Demonstrate knowledge of AC and DC electrical theory, with an understanding of 3-phase motor control circuits (preferred but not required).
- Work with Allen Bradley PLCs, remote sensor interfaces, HMIs, VFDs, and other automated controls, and troubleshoot these systems.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing and facility equipment and systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on production, processing, and plant equipment.
- Follow directions and work independently when necessary.
- Operate forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts.
- Accurately complete all required paperwork.
- Be adaptable to scheduled and unscheduled overtime and shifts.
- Ensure safe operation of equipment, adhere to GMP guidelines, and maintain a clean work area.
- Participate in meetings, train others, and cover other positions as needed.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and health by following all company safety procedures, operating equipment safely, and reporting any unsafe conditions or practices.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Technical Certificate or Associate Degree preferred (but not mandatory).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have own hand tools for all job duties.
- Wage is based on experience.
- Company covers the cost of materials.
- Company covers gas fees.
- Bi-weekly payments.
- Payments made via direct bank transfer or CashApp for convenience.
