Job Summary

The General Manager is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and leading the day-to-day operations of the collision repair center. This includes planning and implementing daily operations to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and insurance metrics, coaching and empowering team members, and promoting high-quality standards of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Experience
    • Ensure consistent execution of our customer service standards.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Operations Management
    • Prepare and manage the annual and monthly operating budget.
    • Forecast, target, and track monthly sales, profit, and expense objectives.
    • Monitor and maintain all accounts payable and receivable.
    • Maintain a clean and organized repair facility.
  • Team Leadership
    • Coach and empower team members to achieve their full potential.
    • Deliver formal annual performance reviews and informal monthly performance reviews.
    • Lead and manage all repair facility personnel.
  • Business Development
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue.
    • Manage all estimates to ensure labor mix is within established standards.
    • Manage store capacity and optimize production.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Identify and mitigate risks to the business.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Post-secondary education or equivalent.
    • Proven leadership experience in a collision repair environment or similar role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
    • Ability to consistently demonstrate a successful customer experience.
    • Effective communication and coaching skills.
