Janitorial General Cleaner

Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for maintaining a clean and safe environment? We are seeking a Janitorial General Cleaner to join our team at The Budd Group

The Janitorial General Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our office building and surrounding areas. This includes sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, as well as cleaning restrooms, hallways, and other common areas.

• Clean offices, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other areas.
• Replenish paper and soap products in bathrooms, clean mirrors, walls, showers, sinks, metal work, and toilets.
• Empty wastebaskets, and empty and clean ashtrays. Transport trash and waste to disposal area.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. Spot clean walls, ceilings, vents, and woodwork. Spot clean windows, blinds, door panels, ledges, and sills. Clean water fountains.
• Dust furniture, light fixtures, and equipment.
• Operate various types of equipment, including wet vacuums, hand trucks, vacuum cleaners, etc.
• Assist in the completion of the workload in the absence of other service workers.
• Report any malfunctions/maintenance problems to the supervisor. Discuss work problems and/or schedule problems with supervisor and/or management. May be required to lock and/or unlock doors. Attend training meetings and sessions as directed.

• At least 1 year of experience required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with arms and hands. The employee is required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is occasionally required to talk or hear. The employee must lift/move up to 35 pounds.
