Process Engineer III

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team in Fremont, CA. As a key member of our Semiconductor Services Business US, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for high-tech semiconductor products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase yield and efficiency in our manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, install, and commission new production units, and troubleshoot existing processes.
- Assess and improve the quality and safety of our manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage and optimize the use of resources, including raw materials and equipment, to minimize costs and maximize productivity.
- Work closely with our Sales team to interface with customers and support new and existing business activities.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including reports, flow diagrams, and charts, to support process improvements and troubleshooting efforts.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in high-technology manufacturing, preferably in semiconductor capital equipment or related industry.
- Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, Metallurgy, Chemistry, or Physics; Master's or higher degree preferred.
Work Environment:
This role will be performed in a professional office environment, with occasional presence in manufacturing areas. The employee will be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and manufacturing areas can be moderate or loud.
Physical Demands:
The employee will be required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee will also be required to sit, climb stairs, maintain balance, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Travel Requirements:
Work may require out-of-town travel depending on assignment (training and meeting).
