Job Summary

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Hospitalist with Granville Health System is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a rural setting. This role involves examining and treating patients independently, as well as collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct inpatient care to adult patients, utilizing clinical knowledge and experience to deliver exceptional care.
  • Participate in the hospital's safety and infection control programs to reduce risk to employees and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct inpatient and outpatient consultations in internal medicine, utilizing evidence-based guidelines and procedures to inform care decisions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with current developments in the industry through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in area of specialty required.
  • Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) or National Commission on Certification of Physicians Assistants (NCCPA) as a PA-C.
  • State authority for advanced practice.
