Responsibilities
As an RN Unit Manager, you will oversee the delivery of patient care, including assessing patients' needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes. You will also supervise and mentor nursing staff, provide guidance on clinical procedures, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing supplies, equipment and resources, ensuring that they are used efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have current state nursing licensure, CPR certification, and experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing. A bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field is preferred. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
