Parish Bookkeeping Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Parish Bookkeeping Coordinator to join our team at the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth. This role is responsible for providing bookkeeping services for the parish and school, including accounts payable and receivable, financial statements, and budget creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records for the parish and school.
- Process check requests and ensure proper authorization for expenditures.
- Coordinate volunteers for money counting and record keeping.
- Assist in budget creation process for the school and parish.
- Prepare and mail yearly contribution statements, 1099 forms, and Form 1066.
- Provide bookkeeping services for special collections and fund-raising efforts.
- Develop and maintain vendor payment information.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a non-profit organization.
- Proficient in SAGE Intacct Accounting system and FACTS Tuition Management system.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to meet deadlines and follow directives from pastor or business manager in a timely manner.
- Catholic in good standing preferred.
Salary Range:$50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
