Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at Baylor Scott & White Health. As a Neonatal Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care to our most vulnerable patients, including premature and critically ill newborns.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to neonates in the NICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage the physical and emotional needs of patients and families, including pain management, nutrition, and emotional support.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Active RN license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 6 months of RN experience in a NICU setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
