Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Application Developer to join our team at Katmai. As a Mobile Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mobile applications for various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Collaborate with engineers and analysts to apply software development languages skills
  • Build and optimize secure mobile apps for evolving business needs
  • Perform routine site audits and ongoing maintenance as needed
  • Ensure compliance with CM process standards, plans, and procedures
  • Participate in Engineering Review Board (ERB)/Integrated Product Team (IPT) team meetings
  • Attend Configuration Control Board meetings with management and other functional groups
  • Manage content and update configuration item lists
  • Create and maintain reports while meeting deadlines
  • Support preparation and CM status reporting for engineering technical events
  • Participate in application testing as needed
  • Work with inter-functional teams to streamline processes

Requirements

  • Four to six years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Wireless Networks
  • Cross-platform experience in Android and iOS app development
  • Experience with Responsive Web Design with JavaScript-based frameworks
  • Experience with Mobile technologies, ideally at least one of Xamarin, .NET MAUI or Flutter
  • Understanding of communication technologies commonly employed by mobile apps
  • Experience leveraging other Integrated Development Environment (IDE) products
  • Excellent working knowledge of different platforms, both for smartphones and tablets

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with one of Xamarin, .NET MAUI or Flutter
  • Experience working with distributed teams in an Agile environment
  • Experience integrating applications with external REST APIs and web services
  • Deep understanding of multiple SDLC methodologies with an emphasis on Agile
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate to business and technical partners
  • Experience providing the team with constructive feedback regarding estimates activities and process improvements

Work Environment

Work is expected to be remote; however, the company reserves the right to require onsite work.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay is $65,000 to $85,000 per year. Eligible benefits include medical, dental, vision, life & AD&D insurance, voluntary disability insurance, time off benefits, 401(k) savings plan with employer matching, FSA, EAP, and more.
