As an MRI Technologist at SCL Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care while utilizing your expertise in magnetic resonance imaging. This position requires a strong understanding of the principles and physics of MRI, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate magnetic resonance scanners to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
• Possess in-depth knowledge of MRI principles and physics, as well as imaging techniques and protocols
• Receive and position patients, explain examination procedures, and administer IV contrast agents as needed
• Independently perform and complete routine examinations, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care and achieve optimal outcomes

Requirements:

• Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
• Current ARRT (R) registry and BLS certification
• At least one year of experience as an MRI Technologist, preferred

Physical Demands:

• Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, and assess patient needs
• Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors requiring verbal communication and hearing
• Manual dexterity to manipulate complex equipment with precision and accuracy
• Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients, as well as bend to retrieve and carry supplies and equipment
• Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment

Work Environment:

• Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital
• Billings, Montana
• 36 scheduled weekly hours
