Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols to complete examinations.
  • Receive patients, explain the examination process, and position patients for imaging.
  • Administer IV contrast agents when indicated and perform IV punctures as needed.
  • Independently perform and complete routine examinations, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Meet the needs of patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams through effective communication, coordination, and documentation.
  • Participate in quality initiatives to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction, care, and workflow efficiency.
Requirements
  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Current ARRT (R) registry.
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
  • At least one year of experience as an MRI Technologist, preferred.
Work Environment

This position requires frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors, as well as manual dexterity to manipulate complex equipment. The work environment is fast-paced, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.
