Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Wash Bay Attendant to join our 2nd shift team at New Way Trucks. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and cleanliness of our garbage truck assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean garbage truck assemblies using a pressure washer to produce a high-quality finish, adhering to chemical guidelines.
  • Assist in the preparation process, including tacking, masking, and hanging parts.
  • Work with the supervisor to establish and maintain a weekly wash schedule.
  • Conduct tests and LOA data to ensure the process meets required standards and make adjustments as needed.
  • Operate a forklift to move garbage truck assemblies around the facility.
  • Collaborate with the safety department to ensure safe working conditions related to the washing process.
  • Manage waste materials in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DNR regulations.
  • Inspect your work and make corrections as necessary, completing inspection forms once finished.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Bi-weekly titration testing.
  • Ability to perform other duties as assigned.
