Branch Operations Manager

The Branch Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our branch. This includes planning, directing, and coordinating activities to ensure the successful execution of operational and sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and coordinate activities related to pricing, sales, and distribution of products.
- Manage staff, prepare work schedules, and assign specific duties.
- Review sales and activity reports to measure productivity goal achievement and identify areas for cost reduction and program improvement.
- Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire, and train new employees, or oversee those processes.
- Monitor businesses to ensure efficient and effective service delivery while staying within budgetary limits.
- Oversee and participate in activities related to procuring products or providing services to distribute products.
- Determine goods and services to be sold, set prices based on forecasts of customer demand.
- Work with the Director of Purchasing and Inventory to manage inventory movement and schedule cycle inventory counts.
- Collaborate with the IT manager to enforce policies and procedures related to information systems.
- Communicate with the HR Manager on employee disciplinary meetings and copy the Vice President on any disciplinary actions.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Fasteners sales experience required.
- Knowledge of the local market.
- Management experience.
- Minimum 5 years' inside sales experience.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving record requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds for 4+ hours per shift.
- Ability to work in hot, humid, and cold manufacturing environments.
- Ability to work in crowded spaces for 4+ hours per shift.
- Ability to bend and crawl for 4+ hours per shift.
- Ability to crouch, kneel, and stoop for 4+ hours per shift.
- Ability to climb ladders for 4+ hours per shift.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for 6+ hours per shift.
- Ability to perform simple grasping, push, pull, fine manipulation, and feel for 6+ hours per shift.
- Ability to make fine distinctions in sound, express and exchange written or spoken word, and distinguish objects and equipment visually.
