Key Responsibilities
  • Procedure Setup and Assistance: Ensure that procedure rooms are properly set up and equipped for imaging procedures.
  • Technical Procedure Performance: Perform a variety of technical procedures to detect pathology, including routine imaging, emergent, invasive, and special procedures.
  • Patient Care and Support: Provide exceptional patient care and support, including education and assistance to patients and caregivers.
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Safely operate equipment and maintain standards while performing procedures.
  • Documentation and Communication: Document procedures in patient charts and communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology and registered through the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT).
  • License and Certification: Florida license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience: Two years of experience as an Imaging Technologist in an acute care imaging setting is preferred.
Work Environment

This role requires sitting at a workstation or desk, standing, and occasional pushing and/or pulling, lifting, and carrying objects weighing up to 100 lbs. The work requires finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate a computer keyboard at a moderate skill level.

Personal Protective Equipment

Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
