Aircraft Systems Coordinator

Job Summary:The RS Aircraft Systems Coordinator is a key member of the Operations team, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft systems. This role requires a strong understanding of avionics, electrical, and mechanical systems, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Verify and perform avionics, electrical, and mechanical aircraft systems in accordance with engineering documentation.
- Coordinate with ME or Test Engineering Specialist to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications.
- Develop and promote use of written processes and procedures to ensure consistent interpretation of results and application of information.
- Assign team members to work off-shifts as required to support the overall schedule and team.
- Ensure daily accountability of team members and verify progress by routinely inspecting work and corresponding drawings.
- Improve work processes and performance to reduce quality defects, labor hours, and cycle time.
- Review and monitor open actions such as discrepancies and drawings and ensure resolution in a timely manner.
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license preferred or must be able to obtain a Repairman Certificate.
- Daily communication required with team members and support organization members to ensure concerns are addressed and barriers removed in support of the daily work plans.
- Daily Engineering interface as it relates to technical issue resolution and the ability to influence their support while maintaining a team-based environment.
- Must possess the people skills to address individual performance issues.
- Must be able to address and resolve sensitive personnel issues with the support of the HR department.
- Ensures safe work practices are followed inside and outside the aircraft.
