About the Role

We are seeking a Retail Manager to join our team at Claire's Accessories. As a key holder, you will be responsible for supporting the store manager and assistant store manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the achievement of retail store targets by driving sales
  • In the absence of other management, opening and closing the store and ensuring it trades safely and legally
  • Delivering sales through friendly and efficient customer service
  • Ensuring customers have a fun and enjoyable shopping experience
  • Demonstrating Claires products
  • Assisting customers with their queries using product knowledge
  • Assisting with processing store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns and promotions
  • Earpiercing (full training provided)
  • Ensuring the store looks presentable and inviting to customers

Requirements
  • Some high school education required
  • Minimum 1 year retail experience
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Understanding of customer service principles
  • Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills
  • Ability to stand during scheduled shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs regularly and up to 75lbs occasionally
  • Ability to operate a POS system
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is between $16.25 and $17.75 per hour, depending on relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
