Job Summary

At Youth Advocate Programs, Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing individualized mental health interventions and support services to children and adolescents with psychiatric diagnoses and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement sound clinical interventions and supportive services to enable children and adolescents to maintain and function to the best of their ability in the least restrictive setting.
  • Participate as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team and work under the supervision of a Qualified Mental Health Professional.
  • Provide support services in a variety of community-based settings, including home, school, and community settings.
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records of services provided.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and ability to complete 40+ hours of training.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in provision of behavioral health services.
  • Behavioral Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from an accredited organization.
  • Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage.
