Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our apartment communities, ensuring that our residents enjoy a safe and comfortable living environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance activities throughout the property.
  • Manage a team of maintenance associates, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality workmanship.
  • Develop and implement maintenance budgets and schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing costs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
  • Respond to and resolve after-hours and weekend emergency maintenance and custodial requirements.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of hands-on apartment or building maintenance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair work.
  • HVAC-EPA (Type II) or EPA Universal certification required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend budgets and financial reports.
  • Supervisory experience and excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience with Yardi or other property management accounting software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior customer service skills, including the ability to manage difficult customers and/or situations.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Availability to be on-call and responsive to after-hour emergencies.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Estimated Rate of Pay

$32.32

This position is non-exempt, and the range above reflects hourly rates. The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location, and job complexity. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds.
