Job Overview
Northern Light Health is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant I to join our team. As a key member of our Medical Surgical Unit, you will provide direct and in-direct patient care under the direction of nursing staff. With a focus on delivering exceptional patient outcomes, you will perform duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or moving patients, or changing linens.

About the Role
This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week with a shift schedule of 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating and interacting with patients, families, physicians, peers, and other healthcare members to maximize successful customer outcomes and unit function. You will also precept team members to job function, orient patients to hospital environment and routine, attend unit committees or educational peer opportunities, document patient care, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and communicate information to oncoming staff.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a Certified Nursing Assistant credential and a high school diploma or equivalent. They must be able to lift, move, and load 30-50 pounds, work alternate shift schedules (day, evening, nights, weekends), and maintain confidentiality and adhere to NLH policies and procedures.
