We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor to join our Division of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, contributing to patient care, research, and didactic instruction in pediatric dentistry.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and provide clinical instruction to dental education students, residents, and pediatric health care providers.
- Conduct research and participate in faculty, resident, and student research projects.
- Participate in committee work and contribute to the development of academic programs.
- Provide clinical teaching and administration of pre-doctoral dental education students rotating through Division of Pediatric Dentistry clinical sites.
- Develop and implement educational programs for pediatric dentistry residents, pre-doctoral dental education students, and advanced education dental residents.
- DDS/DMD degree from a Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) accredited United States or Canadian dental school.
- Completion of an Advanced Education Program in Pediatric Dentistry accredited by CODA or the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada.
- Meets eligibility requirements for certification with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
- Current Minnesota Dental License or ability to obtain one prior to start in the position.
