We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As an Echo Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Cardiac Ultrasound Equipment: Utilize advanced technology to perform echocardiographic studies, ensuring accurate and high-quality images for medical interpretation.
- Patient Preparation and Care: Prepare and care for patients undergoing echocardiograms, providing education and support throughout the process.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Consistently perform quality Doppler and color Doppler exams, acquiring high-quality stress echo and dobutamine images according to physician and benchmark standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting, and identify problems with equipment for prompt reporting.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate patient records and report findings or concerns to reading physicians for prompt interpretation.
- Experience: 1 year of experience as an Echo Technologist or related field.
- Certifications: BLS, ARDMS, and state-specific licensing when required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
- Knowledge and Skills: Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
