Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN-Cardiac Cath Lab to join our team at UnityPoint Health Finley Hospital. As a key member of our cardiovascular care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Cardiology Service Line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' cardiovascular health and develop plans to promote and restore their cardiovascular well-being.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of departmental goals, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, including pre-procedure education, post-procedure follow-up, and ongoing support.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN required within 5 years of hire)
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Critical Care setting
  • Previous Cath Lab experience
  • EPIC EMR system experience
  • Apollo Documentation knowledge
  • Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • ACLS certification within 1 year
